Before You Begin

To scan all mailboxes in your organization, you need to set up a Google Cloud service account with domain-wide delegation. This requires Google Workspace super admin access.

You have Google Workspace super admin access
You have access to Google Cloud Console
You can configure domain-wide delegation in Google Workspace Admin Console

Required API Scopes

You'll need to authorize these scopes for domain-wide delegation:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.directory.user.readonly
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/admin.reports.audit.readonly
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.settings.basic
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.settings.sharing
