1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using CertifID BEC Analyzer ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
CertifID BEC Analyzer provides email security analysis services to help organizations detect Business Email Compromise (BEC) attacks. The Service includes:
- Mailbox configuration scanning for suspicious forwarding rules, filters, and delegates
- Security audit log analysis
- Risk assessment and reporting
- Automated scheduled scanning
- Email notifications for high-risk findings
3. User Accounts and Access
To use the Service, you must:
- Have a valid Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 account
- Grant the Service read-only access to your email configuration
- Be authorized by your organization to grant such access
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
4. Data Access and Privacy
The Service requests read-only access to your mailbox configuration, including:
- Email forwarding settings and rules
- Inbox filters and mail flow rules
- Delegate access permissions
- Security audit logs
We do not read, store, or transmit the content of your emails. For detailed information about how we handle your data, please review our Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Use the Service to scan accounts you are not authorized to access
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
6. Service Availability and Limitations
While we strive to provide reliable service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with or without notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is a security analysis tool designed to help detect potential Business Email Compromise. However:
- We cannot guarantee detection of all security threats
- The Service does not prevent BEC attacks, only detects indicators
- You remain responsible for your organization's email security
- We are not liable for any damages resulting from BEC attacks or undetected threats
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the Service in the past 12 months
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by CertifID and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting your email provider authorization. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
